“Anne of Cleves is played by Kiana Daniele, a new performer with killer stage presence who just about walks off with the show.”
Kiana (she/her) was most recently seen as Petra in “A Little Night Music” (Dir. Dean Bryant) with The Hayes Theatre Co which won the 2024 Sydney Theatre Award for Best Production.
Previously she completed the full Australian tour of SIX The Musical as Henry VII’s fourth wife ‘Cleves’ (2019-2023). While compelling the crowds of Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra and Perth to “Get Down” Kiana received critical praise with esteemed theatre reviews. "a true delight with killer stage presence who walks away with the show”. During this time Kiana was also the proud recipient of the Sydney Theatre Award for Best Newcomer (2022) and Best Ensemble, Green Room Award (2023).
Kiana originally studied Music Theatre training at Showfit before completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Music Theatre) at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA). Kiana then went on to make her professional debut in The Boy from Oz directed by Jason Langley (The Production Company) in 2018. Other professional highlights include portraying the role of Baby in Dirty Dancing (Immersive Cinema), and Caitlin Martel in Secret Bridesmaids Business (Seven Studios).
